            a 10-page fax file gives a 10-page PDF without splitting it first.

            uncompressed or LZW TIFF in an image editor first.

            files are inverted correctly so black stays black.

            The whole file is decoded into browser memory and each page is

            hundred megabytes can exhaust that memory, so split very large TIFFs
            or convert them a few at a time.
