STaurtomation is a self-hosted visual workflow automation tool. Users (spec §1):
|
|
- **Homelabbers** — notifications, OpenClaw, smart home, small scheduled jobs; single-box install.
|
|
- **University staff, often non-technical** — build automations visually, sign in via SAML/OIDC.
|
|
- **Companies prototyping** — ease of use, low maintenance, scheduled AI queries.
|
|
|
|
Must feel easy to non-developers: code is available, never required. Core moments: building on the
|
|
canvas, testing with pinned data and seeing each node's input/output, reviewing import reports,
|
|
approving AI-assistant diffs, and noticing security updates.
|
